Lake Mitchell HOBO sponsors an annual family-friendly Poker Run contest to support the Scholarship Fund.  Contestants pay a $25 entry fee, then travel by boat around the lake to several dealers where they draw their hands.  Dealers and players decorate their locations and boats with fun-themed decorations and costumes.  The winning top three hands are awarded a cash prize.   In addition to a great day of laughter and fun on the lake, the event raises thousands of dollars for the HOBO Student Scholarship/Teacher Grant Program.

Another Record Breaking Year

In spite of forecasts predicting 80% chance of rain, we had 570 players, over 100 volunteers, and proceeds over $15,000!  And the rain held off until just as the event ended!
