The Lake Mitchell Home Owners and Boat Owners Association (HOBO) was founded in 1996 by concerned and dedicated residents of Lake Mitchell It is an organization open to all property owners on Lake Mitchell with the stated mission to PRESERVE, PROTECT and IMPROVE the quality of life in and around the lake. This includes all of the native land and aquatic animals and plants, as well as the humans who enjoy life on Lake Mitchell. HOBO promotes safety on the lake, improving fisheries and recreational facilities, environmental stewardship, and local community involvement.
