This year each dealer stop will have a theme celebrating one event or era of our nation's history. Join in the fun and decorate your boat to celebrate America.
WHERE: Higgins Ferry Landing, Lake Mitchell near Clanton, AL
WHEN: June 20, 2026, 9:30a.m.. - 3 p.m.
Pick up your official player packets including your authorized player sheets and map of dealer locations at Higgins Ferry.
Cutoff date for online registration is Friday at noon before Saturday Poker Run.
Bring your boat and leisurely travel from pier to pier to collect your winning hand. (Call it the "Pokey" Run! It's not a race! )
Visit 7 of the 10 Dealer Stops to draw your 7-card hand and get your tally sheet stamped at each of your 7 locations between 9:30 a.m.and 2:30 p.m. You must draw your last card before 2:30 when all dealers are required to stop dealing.

Awards: at 3 p.m. back at Higgins Ferry. The first place winning hand will receive $500.
The Poker Run is a fun event to support the H.O.B.O. Scholarship Fund. Donations are non-refundable, even if the event has to be canceled due to weather, but you are supporting a great cause! The event will take place rain or shine, and will only be canceled due to dangerous weather. This will be our 12th year and we have never had to cancel. The odds are in our favor! (Your donation may be tax deductible. Consult your tax advisor.)
Enter the name of each player for whom you are registering ON A SEPARATE LINE, and then adjust the QUANTITY at the bottom of the form to equal the total number of players for whom you wish to register. $25 per player.
