This year's Poker Run features 10 themed Dealer stops, each celebrating a different chapter of America's story. Decorate your boats and get ready for an unforgettable day on the lake!

Players are encouraged to decorate boats and dress in costume to match the themes!

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026
Location: Higgins Ferry Park, Lake Mitchell
Schedule:
- Packet pick-up/ Start: 9:00 a.m.
- Dealer stops open: 9:30 a.m.– 2:30 p.m.
- Return to Higgins Ferry by: 2:45 p.m.
- Awards announced: 3:00 p.m.
HOW IT WORKS
Each player needs at least one tally sheet ($35 each) to participate. Players can purchase multiple tally sheets to play multiple hands and increase their chances of winning. Visit 7 of 10 themed Dealer stops to draw cards and form your best poker hand. The best hand wins!
DEALER STOPS
Players will travel by boat around Lake Mitchell visiting 7 of 10 themed dealer stops located throughout the lake. At each dealer stop:
Each themed stop will celebrate a different chapter of America's story as part of our "1776 – Birth of America" celebration. Dealer stops may include decorations, music, costumes, games, photo opportunities, giveaways, and family-friendly fun.
Participants are encouraged to decorate their boats and enjoy the patriotic spirit throughout the day!

Royal Flush Jackpot: $1,000
1st Place (best hand):$500
2nd Place: $200
3rd Place: $100
ABOUT THE POKER RUN
Lake Mitchell HOBO hosts this annual family-friendly Poker Run to support our Student Scholarship and Teacher Grant Program. The event raises thousands of dollars annually for HOBO scholarships - making it a fantastic day on the lake for a great cause. The event takes place rain or shine. Registrations are non-refundable but transferable to another player.

- Receive an official dealer stamp

The event has raised thousands of dollars for the HOBO Student Scholarship/Teacher Grant Program, supporting students and teachers in the Lake Mitchell community.
